Course Objectives
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define and properly discuss probable legal problems regarding retail business
  • Define the main elements of sales contract and manufacturing contract and apply them.
  • Evaluate main concepts of commercial law and especialy the types of negotiable instruments related with the operation field of retail business.
  • Define the essential principles of unfair competition and commercials, advertisements and promotions besides protection of trade marks.
  • Explain the essentials of labour contract and the main obligations of employer and employee.
  • Report on the main concepts and most important principles of Consumer protection Law.
  • Evaluate the occupational health rules and probable criminal law cases within the limits of retail business.
  • Recognize the regulatory public authorities and legislation related with scope of retail business.
